We previously profiled a sapphire mine in Montana where visitors could mine their own gems or buy buckets of gravel to sift through. Now we've found a nice spot in North Carolina where you can mine for Emeralds, Rubies, Aquamarines and other gemstones. You can also order a bucket of gravel from the mine to sift through at home.
